Pakistan, officially known as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, has the second largest Muslim population in the world. From public persecution to targeted terror attacks, Christianity and those who practice it continue to be under threat. However, God has been doing an incredible work in Pakistan! CMI continues to do weekly outreaches to remote places in Pakistan, bringing the gospel to people who are hungry for truth and desperate for the light of Jesus.
In our weekly meetings, many people receive healing and restoration from physical ailments. Many are repenting and receiving Jesus as their personal Savior. Believers and non-believers are hearing the message of hope and desiring to know more about the God who loves and cares for them in the midst of their suffering.
how much does yourbiblemean to you?
There is a great hunger for Bibles in Pakistan. We even know some believers who have waited decades to hold their very own Bible in their hands. But why do we give Bibles to the persecuted church? Because these courageous Christians and new believers are desperate for God’s Word. The Bible is a tool they can continually use in their walk with Christ, and it offers them an immense source of comfort, encouragement, and strength during times of difficulty and suffering.
Moreover, CMI is actively involved in spreading the Word of God to those who are not yet reached. One of the best ways to do that is through Bible distribution because it gives people the opportunity to have a personal and ongoing encounter with God.
Help us bring light to a country surrounded in darkness.
